Revolutionize Filmmaking with Virtual Production

Fulfilling the promise of Virtual Production for Film, Television, and Events.
Liminal is changing the traditional linear pipeline into a parallel process, blurring the lines between pre-production, production, and post-production — allowing for unprecedented levels of creative freedom, sustainability, and cost efficiency.

XR PRE-VISUALISATION

Our XR pre-production toolkit uses VR and AR to build virtual scenes to perfect scale, so you can act out and record action using mo-cap, place virtual lights and cameras, plus test every aspect of your production. From story development to pitch-viz, previz and tech-viz, Liminal brings your production to life much faster – and earlier in the process.

IMMERSIVE PRODUCTION

Our production team can build large-scale scenes from scratch on real time game engines or scan and recreate real environments using photogrammetry and LIDAR.
Use these assets as virtual locations assets for post-production – or, if rendered in real-time engines via LED screens, these scenes can be used as the final pixels in the film, eliminating post production.

HYBRID GREEN SCREEN

Our customised virtual sets can be placed on the chroma screen and tracked using our camera tracking systems to get the right parallax along with realtime keying and live compositing. Directors can visualise the shot exactly to the final pixel or use it for on-set previs.

One of a kind showcase of all virtual production technologies under one roof. Liminal handled virtual production operations and established the pipeline for real-time compositing, in-camera VFX using led screens, and augmented reality for the pop-up. We collaborated with Centroid Studios to integrate motion capture into UE4 and developed a seamless workflow with Green Rain to add all 3D assets used as backgrounds for real-time compositing and LED screens.

Realtime VP And Previs for Music Videos. The song "Naach Meri Raani," directed by Mr. Om Raut, was filmed entirely on green screen. Liminal teamed up with Retrophiles Studio to provide virtual production services on the floor. The creators were able to better understand blocking, lighting, and camera movements thanks to the real-time visualisation.

REALTIME VP AND PREVIS.
Debut director Bosco Cesar had one entire sequence of the film to be shot on chroma. Liminal collaborated with the team and created an entire workflow that enabled high quality asset creation in Maya which Was further ported to UE4. Along with camera tracking and real-time composting, we provided visualisation right on set.
